How to participate
The Initiative can engage all actors, companies or social partners dealing with the issues of Sustainable Development and Corporate Responsibility in their field of interest, depending on the role and status of each one.
Governmental Institutions
We invite selected Institutional Entities (such as representatives of the Public Administration, Ministries, the Greek Parliament and the local government, who are dealing with issues of Sustainable Development) to participate:
• in the dialogue that will be conducted with all stakeholders towards the creation of the Policy Paper
• in the process of forging the Greek Sustainability Code, starting with the revision of the German Sustainability Code and continue with the participation in specialized working groups in order to shape the criteria that will depict the Greek reality.
CIVIL SOCIETY REPRESENTATIVES
Representatives of civil society (institutions, NGOs, etc.) who are dealing with issues of Sustainable Development and Social Cohesion in the triptych economy-society-environment are invited to participate in the Initiative by taking part in:
• the process of open consultation under the Public Dialogue, offering their opinions and submitting their initiatives
• in the process of forging the Greek Sustainability Code, starting with the revision of the German Sustainability Code and continue with the participation in specialized working groups, in order to shape the criteria that will depict the Greek reality.
• in the formulation of a social needs recording mechanism, through participation in specialized working groups.
REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ACADEMIC COMMUNITY
Representatives of the academic community (academia, research centers), who deal with issues of Sustainability in the triptych economy-society-environment, are invited to participate in the Initiative by taking part in:
• the process of open consultation under the Public Dialogue, offering their opinions and submitting their initiatives
• in the process of forging the Greek Sustainability Code, starting with the revision of the German Sustainability Code and continue with the participation in specialized working groups, in order to shape the criteria that will depict the Greek reality.
ΤΗΕ BUSINESS SECTOR
The business entities, that represent various sectors of Greek entrepreneurship, have the opportunity to participate in the initiative in two ways:
• As simple participants in the process of open consultation under the public debate, offering their opinions and submitting their initiatives
• As Collaborative members:

31 business entities are already participating in the Initiative:
- They sign the Charter for a Sustainable Greece along with the “Sustainability Ambassadors”
- They inform and sensitize companies and their members about their participation in the Initiative, by promoting all communication received by the QualityNetFoundation for the developments of the Initiative and at the same time, they recommend other members and partners that could also participate actively.
